Stewardship is an expression of discipleship with the power to change how we understand and live our lives. Stewardship tells us to share a portion of our time, talent and treasure so that the Gift, Jesus Christ, may be given to those who do not know him. By participating in a stewardship effort, parishioners will experience a diocesan/parish renewal that will gather and unify God's people. Parish Leaders in stewardship will find that parishioners will become excited to share their gifts and talents because of the blessings they receive. When people are motivated to give out of a feeling of gratitude rather than guilt, recognition, reward, need or sacrifice, they begin to give the gift that God wants them to give --- the gift of themselves. When this is done they will experience the joy of belonging to the Church.
